The OMNI-4000 Integrated Production Management and Control System is Phason's flagship product line. OMNI-4000 has been developed over several years to provide producers with the most comprehensive automated monitoring and control system available.

OMNI-4000 was designed primarily for the hog industry, but is also used in large poultry operations.

What is OMNI-4000?

OMNI-4000 is a personal computer-based system of hardware devices and software programs. A single OMNI-4000 system can have up to 256 hardware devices.

The OMNI-4000 software constantly monitors the hardware and automatically collects information about the barn environment. The system stores the information in an ODBC-compliant database.

OMNI-4000 not only collects vital production information, it helps you manage it. Each OMNI-4000 module comes with powerful charts and reports that help you analyze and add intelligence to your production information.

All modules allow you to export information to third-party software such as databases, spreadsheet programs, or reporting packages.

OMNI-4000 is an ‘enabling platform’; it does not force you to follow specific production methods. OMNI-4000 helps you manage and control your operation according to your strategy.

OMNI-4000 operates using existing personnel skill levels. Once set up, the system can operate without user input for extended periods. When OMNI-4000 requires attention, such as when an alarm condition occurs, information about the situation displays in the main window.

Using a modem and remote access software such Symantec's pc Anywhere™, you can monitor and control your OMNI-4000 system from remote locations.

Customizable security and access levels

OMNI-4000 has a customizable security system that allows you to set up user groups and access levels for each module. Authorized users must enter their passwords before accessing the system.

When a user makes a change to the OMNI-4000 configuration or settings, the system records the user's name, the change, and the date and time. OMNI-4000 stores this information in a log file you can view at any time.

Much more than a ventilation control system

OMNI-4000 includes the OMNI-Ventilation module and is known as an exceptionally powerful and reliable environmental control system. But OMNI-4000 is much more than an enhanced ventilation control system, it is an integrated production control and management system, designed to fit the needs of the most demanding producers.

Using OMNI-4000, you can monitor and control virtually every element affecting the production of livestock in confinement.
