Regulated Power Supply (RPS)
Safe, reliable power for difficult environments
The Regulated Power Supply (RPS) is a CSA-approved, Class 2 power supply. The RPS provides safe, regulated power (24 VAC and 13.6 VDC) for general applications. Its rugged design and rugged enclosure make it excellent for harsh environments.
Battery-backup option
The RPS has a battery-backup option. The battery backup supplies enough power to maintain or slowly charge a 12-V gel cell battery (not included). If the incoming AC power fails, the battery provides power to the devices connected to the DC output.
To use the battery-backup option, you must have the RPS battery cable. The RPS battery cable prevents the battery from drawing too much power from the power supply if the battery is shorted or dead.
