Optically-isolated, self-powered USB to RS485 converter

Phason's USB RS485 Converters allow you to convert any USB port on your laptop or desktop computer to an RS485 communication port.

The self-powered, optically-isolated converters are available in two models:

RS485-FD (full-duplex, four-wire communication)
RS485-HD (half-duplex, two-wire communication)

Both models install quickly and come with a six-foot USB cable and Windows XP® and Vista® drivers.

Full-Duplex USB RS485 Converter (RS485-FD)

The Phason RS485-FD provides four-wire RS485 serial communication with USB conversion and connectivity.

All Phason networkable devices (for example, a ventilation control) communicate with the computer using four-wire RS485 serial communication. Using the RS485 FD and appropriate Phason software, you can set up a central monitoring and control system for your site.
