OMNI-Ventilation module

Reliable, versatile ventilation control with alarm notification and customizable charts and reports

OMNI-Ventilation has the flexibility to satisfy almost every barn type and ventilation strategy. As with all OMNI-4000 modules, OMNI-Ventilation is completely user configurable. The system fits the site instead of forcing the site to fit the system.

You can configure OMNI-Ventilation for either natural or forced ventilation in strategies from tunnel ventilation, side-wall forced ventilation, curtain ventilation, or chimney ventilation systems. OMNI-Ventilation automatically controls the barn environment, regardless of the ventilation strategy.

OMNI-Ventilation works with the Power Blocks to monitor temperatures and control equipment such as variable speed fans, heaters, inlet actuators, misters, lights, curtain machines, and more. Easy-to-use windows provide information at a glance and allow you to configure every aspect of your barn's ventilation equipment.

Whether you are using fans, curtains, or actuators, OMNI-4000 has an easy-to-use window to help you set up your equipment. Each type of equipment has its own setup window. These windows allow you to implement particular ventilation strategies.

Power Block relays can be used for; heating, cooling, timed events for lighting, duty cycles for misting or feed auger control. The relays can control any function at your site that needs to turn ON or OFF based on temperature, time, or duration.

Alarm notification and logging

When there is an alarm condition, such as a high or low temperature in a zone, OMNI displays a message on the main OMNI window. All alarm conditions are logged and can be printed anytime. OMNI-Ventilation is compatible with OMNI-Alert voice notification system and the Power Blocks have alarm relays to which you can connect a siren or other external alarm system.

If the computer or OMNI Server fails, the Power Blocks will continue to operate at the last settings received before the failure. When the problem has been fixed, all control settings will be updated and synchronized with the computer.

Customizable charts and reports

One of the great features of all OMNI-4000 modules is automatic data collection. OMNI-Ventilation constantly collects data and provides tools for you to view information about your equipment. The charts, reports and viewers provide valuable insight into your barn's environment and help you troubleshoot any irregularities.

• The Power Block Status window allows you to view the status of a Power Block and all the equipment connected to it. This window is great for providing an up-to-date snapshot of a ventilation group's status.
• Temperature Charts display set points, outdoor, and ambient temperatures for the selected date range.
• Temperature Reports can display set points, outdoor, and ambient temperatures for the selected date range. You can select the data interval (how many records per day) and data type (discreet or average).
• Status Reports provide information about every aspect of a ventilation group: current settings, settings history, ambient temperature history, and outdoor temperature history. Status reports are an excellent tool for diagnosing ventilation problems.

As with all OMNI-4000 software modules, you can export information to third-party software such as databases, spreadsheet programs, or reporting packages.
