OMNI-Water module

A valuable tool for monitoring your animals' daily water consumption

OMNI-Water automatically collects water usage data from any of OMNI-4000's water monitoring devices and provides tools for monitoring and analyzing water usage and flow rates at your site.

Changes from normal water consumption patterns can be an early indication of costly changes in the health of your animals. When combined with OMNI-Feed, OMNI-Water can be a valuable tool for the early diagnosis of potential health problems and in feed management strategies. In addition, when combined with OMNI-Manure, you can monitor total site water usage and its effects on manure handling costs.

Water Monitoring Devices

OMNI-Water can monitor water meters connected to the pulse counters of any Phason water monitoring device.

• OMNI Water Meter—has five pulse counters and can monitor water usage or water flow rates.
• OMNI Local Environment Monitor—has one pulse counter and can monitor water usage.
• OMNI Power Block—has one pulse counter and can monitor water usage.

Whether you want to monitor water usage in each room, each building, or the entire site, you can configure the versatile OMNI-Water system to meet your individual needs. This makes OMNI-Water a valuable tool for cost reduction strategies and production optimization.

Charts and reports

Customizable charts and reports are a big part of all OMNI-4000 modules. The charting and reporting tools allow you to review and print information for any previous period. As with all OMNI-4000 software modules, you can export information to third-party software such as databases, spreadsheet programs, or reporting packages.

• The Water Usage Chart displays daily water usage for a single water usage group (water meter/pulse counter), over the selected date range.
• The Water Flow Chart displays water flow rates single water flow group (up to five water meters/pulse counters), over the selected date range.
• The Water Usage Report displays daily and total water usage for single or multiple groups, over the selected date range.
• The Water Flow Report displays the water flow rates for the selected pulse counters. You can select up to five pulse counters from a single water flow group.
• The Water Monitor Configuration Report displays the configuration and settings for all OMNI Water Monitors at the site.
